Advocacy For Tenants
Home is where the heart is, being where your fondest memories are established. Of course, 'home' means something unique to everyone and these special feelings are recognized. With this said, Kush Law also recognizes that impartial empathy is often necessary to remain focused upon the legal issues and to remain an objective advisor and negotiator. Kush Law helps tenants to resolve disputes by first reviewing the facts and issues and then by working to negotiate a resolution with the landlord. If resolution is evasive, Kush Law can prepare the required Landlord Tenant Board forms and advocate at Landlord Tenant Board hearings.

Kush Law provides legal services for Landlord and Tenant Board matters involving Eviction For Use By Landlord, and other concerns, as issues common to concerns governed by the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, S.O. 2006, Chapter 17. With this said, sometimes when a dispute involves a residential landlord and tenant, certain issues must proceed at the Landlord Tenant Board. The failure to bring specific issues into the proper forum may cause a dismissal the proceedings. It is also possible that when a dispute is brought into the wrong forum, the right to a redo or a restart of proceedings in the proper forum is lost. Accordingly, choosing the proper forum is imperative. With other cases, such as commercial tenancy disputes, the issues are always beyond the jurisdiction of the Landlord Tenant Board and must be pursued in the Superior Court depending on the legal issues involved.
